About the workshop:
Piñatas are often linked with Mexico, but they have a rich history. In this two-part workshop, participants will explore their origins and history and learn how to make traditional piñatas. This workshop consists of two sessions. On the first day, you will delve into the history and start creating the base. On the second day, the focus will be on decorating. Juan Aguirre and Danny Tepi will co-lead this workshop.
All materials are included. What you do in the workshop is yours to keep.
Danny Tepi
Danny Tepi was raised in Puebla and New York. He has had a keen interest and talent for crafts since he was a young child. Growing up with his grandparents, he was immersed in Mexican traditions. One of his earliest memories is of the family coming together to prepare offerings for the altar to honor their departed loved ones.
This workshop is for adults only. Registration is required, and space is limited to 10 participants.
